Georgia Beth was raised in the Kern River Valley. She graduated from Lindsay High School. After graduation from San Jose State University, she became a social worker for Kern County where she remained for thirty years. She then went on to be the Executive Director of the Volunteer Center of Kern County.
Georgia Beth was a past worthy matron of Bakersfield Chapter No. 125, Order of the Eastern Star; past bethel guardian of Job’s Daughters Bethel #28; past president of Soroptimist International of Bakersfield; and past president of Oildale Business and Professional Women.
Georgia Beth is survived by her daughter, Sally Herald (spouse Michael Yraceburn) of Bakersfield, CA; son William Herald (spouse Dayna Herald) of Roseville, CA; brother J.L. Hall; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be conducted by Pastor Jon Christenson at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 2525 Belle Terrace, on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at 11:00 a.m.
