IN LOVING MEMORY On Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2010 we lost a wonderful Mother, Grandmother, Sister and Friend. Gloria was born on August 5, 1936 in Monteray Park, CA to William and Carolyn Byrne. Gloria passed away after a brief illness (diagnosed as lung cancer). Gloria was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Kamps and granddaughter, Cortney Gutkaes. She is survived by her sons, Rob (Sherri) Gutkaes and Dan (Karen) Gutkaes; daughters, Patty Gutkaes and Deena Nelson and fiance Ron Bundy; grandchildren, Carlee Gutkaes, Jason Aldrich, Sarah Gonzalez, Shayla Hull, Lauren Gutkaes, Danielle Pensinger and Brandi Borjon; great grandchildren, Levi Gutkaes, Rylie Aldrich, Damian Gonzalez, and Mylee French; five brothers; and many nieces and nephews. A special thank you to her best friend, Marge Griffith, to Optimal Hospice, and for the many prayers, and all who helped during Mom's illness. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 8, 10:00 a.m., at Hillcrest Mortuary. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
