Minnie passed away on Monday, March 13th with family at her side. She was born in Santa Clara California on May 12, 1945. She married the love of her life Santos Luevano in 1964 and shared nearly 50 years together. She worked for Floyd's for nearly 20 years and worked as a yard aide for Kendrick Elementary School.
She loved to entertain, cook for family and friends at her home. She enjoyed dancing and singing to Tina Turner as well as Oldies but Goodies. She had a kind soul and always had a smile on her face. She was known for her contagious laughter and positive outlook on life.
She is preceded in death by her father Luis Morin, mother Consuelo Morin, husband Santos Luevano Sr., sister Martha Leal, and Son Ricky Luevano. She is survived by her two sisters Mary Ortiz (Julio) and Connie Garcia, brother Milo Morin (Lucy), son Santos Luevano Jr. (Michelle), daughter Sabrina Reimert (Arlo), her six grandchildren Ricky, Ashley, Samantha, Jessica, Daniel and Cailyn and five great-grandchildren, Mariah, Lexi, Bryson, Aiden and Felicity.
We would like to thank Harold and his staff at the St. Joseph's Care Home and Gentiva Hospice for taking good care of our mother.
The viewing will begin at 9:00 am, followed by services at 10:00 am on March 24th that the Hillcrest Memorial Park and Mortuary (Chapel).
