It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of our son Isaiah Pedro Leyva. Isaiah's last breath was taken on Sunday, October 31, 2021. Isaiah was born May 19, 2000 in Bakersfield, California to parents Jacqueline Angeles and Jose Leyva Jr, Isaiah was 21 years old.
Isaiah was graduate of Golden Valley High School. He was pursing his Class A license, his goal was to be a Owner Operator. He would have accomplished it too. Anything he put his mind too he accomplished.
Hardworking, Respectful, Friendly and Kind. A great sense of humor, a smile to light up a room. Are just a few of his attributes. Anyone who knew Isaiah was touched by his kindness and light hearted nature.
Isaiah loved to travel, camp and ride dirt bikes. As a kid he would ride out in the bluffs behind and around Hillcrest with his Dad. Isaiah loved to have friends over for movie and game nights and BBQ with his Mom. He had a love for cars...Driving fast, burnouts, and being with his fiance Aylne Rodriguez.
Above all he loved spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed and loved.
He leaves behind his Mother Jacqueline Angeles and step-dad Christopher Medellin and sister Kaitlyn Medellin. Father Jose Leyva Jr. and step-mom Maria Leyva and siblings Andrew, Bryson, and Jordan Leyva. His grandparents, Uncles and Aunts, numerous Cousins, Nieces, Friends, and his fiance Aylne Rodriguez.
Our family chain is broken son, but it will reunite again. This is not goodbye we will see you again. A piece of us went with you the day Christ called you home.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.hillcrestmemorial.com for the Leyva family.
