James was born in Hayti, Missouri on July 7, 1956 to James and Doris Ash and passed away on June 2, 2016 after a year long battle with lung cancer. He is survived by his wife Kathy Ash; children Michael and his wife Megan Ash and Amanda Ash; parents James and Doris Ash; Sisters Teresa and his husband Steve Strang, Janet and husband Rodger Harmel and Carol Ash. James also leaves behind 4 grandchildren, Jameson Ash, Tyler Pierce, Dominique Ash and Savannah Ash along with several nieces and nephews. James was known for his gentle spirit and is now resting in the arms of his Savior. Thank you to Optimal Hospice for their kind services. Chapel services will be held on Monday June 13, 2016 at 2:00pm at Hillcrest Memorial.
