James Dewey Tull December 24, 1943 - July 27, 2011 Born December 24, 1943 and died July 27, 2011 Bakersfield, CA., surrounded by love ones at his side. He had endured a long battle with cancer. James came to Bakersfield in the early 1950's and remained a longtime resident, attending local schools. After graduating he went into the field of auto mechanics and loved building race car engines. He was preceeded in death by his Mother and Father Laura and Clyde Tull, also a brother Donald Tull. He is survived by brothers Fred (Leon) Tull, Roy Tull, Gene Tull, Ronnie Tull. Sisters Patricia Lemons and Mary Coronado. James is also survived by his children, Wendy Buford, Tia Dowden, Zachary Tull and stepson William Williams. Also numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Chapel services will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park on Monday August 1st at 1:00pm, graveside to follow.
