Janet Lee Kundert , 71, of Bakersfield California, passed away Wednesday March 21, 2012
Janet was born, October 29, 1940, to the late Rufus Logan Barksdale and survived by her Mother Barbara Barksdale. Janet graduated from Bakersfield High School in 1958.
Janet was a Homemaker and expert seamstress. Janet loved to cook and bake for her family and friends. Janet owned the Pin Cushion fabric store, where she gave lessons in sewing. Over the years Janet made clothing for many friends and family.
Janet is survived by her two children: Connie Scott and her spouse Robert Scott of Pismo Beach California and Michael Kundert and his spouse Michelle Kundert of Bakersfield California. Janet also is survived by 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
The family wishes to thank Evergreen Care facility for their wonderful care of our mother and also thank Mercy Hospice for their care and compassion.
The service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday March 28, 2012 at Hillcrest Memorial cemetery at the Pavilion.
