Thinking of you all. Know that we are with you in spirit as papa is laid to rest. I hope that you take comfort, as I do, knowing he is at peace now. "A death is not the extinguishing of a light, but the putting out of the lamp because the dawn has come."

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. May you find comfort in each other and remember him with laughter as well as tears.

So very to hear of Uncle Jerry's passing.  My heart felt condolences to Shirley and Family.  I know how loved he was and what a special person he was.  A big man with a warm heart.  May he Rest in Peace.  Aunt Shirley, remember and treasure a wonderful life you had with him, gone but not forgotten.

Jerry know that you are  loved and will be missed more than i could ever tell you,  you showed me and taught me so much More than you know. you made me in to the person that i am today! you where so patient with me, you gave great advice when i need some direction and some when i didn't! We had so many great times together and i will always cherish those moments. when your heaven please don't tell God he's doing it wrong i will love and miss you so much! There is a hole in my heart  but your not forgotten

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

Papa, I'm going to miss your gruff voice and big bear hugs. I'm so happy to have had you as my Grandpa for so many years. I love you and Nanu so much. Kimmy

I can't believe that Jerry is gone. He was larger than life! I will remember him the rest of my life. May God hold Shirley and the family in his loving arms.

We will cherish the time we spent at Kern River, meeting Jerry and enjoying his stories of places traveled and places he was planning to travel.
