Joseph Luis Hernandez

Joseph was born in Las Cruces, New Mexico to proud parents Nicholas and Domitila Hernandez. He was the third youngest of four children. Jesse Hernandez (with the Lord), Margret Macias, Joseph (himself), and youngest is Nicholas Hernandez.

Joe (Papa) was a retired electrician and enjoyed going on adventurous trips with his family such as Catalina Island, Morro Bay, Vegas, as well as every casino insight! When he wasn’t on trips his hardworking hands never got a break, between electrical work and work around the yard. And loving on his children, grandkids and great grandkids. It’s safe to say those hands were always busy.

Lorraine and Joe loved their getaways to Morrow Bay Beach. People watching and listening to the waves. Oh, and don’t forget the Casino’s.

Papa leaves the family many happy memories to cherish. He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years Lorraine Hernandez, Son Joey & Wife Carmen Hernandez, Step Son Ernie Bazaldua, Step Daughter Lori & Steve Barter, 12 grandkids he was proud of and held close to his heart, and 9 great grandkids he cherished dearly.

He is preceded in death, yet what a reunion it will be. Reunited in paradise with his parents Nicholas & Domitila Hernandez, and brother Jesse.

We Love you Papa! You will be greatly missed by many.
