Joshua Williams was born with his twin brother, Eric, in Bakersfield, CA to Keith Williams and Diana Jones. Josh worked for the last 14 years in the oil fields as a welder. He was 34 years old when he passed away in Bakersfield, CA where he spent most of his life. He is survived by his parents, Keith and Virginia Williams and Diana and Gavin Jones as well as his brothers Jarrett, Brett and Eric, sister Jenae, girlfriend Shiree and his four favorite boys, Chance, Clayton and Cayden Boen, and Jake Spears.
Josh was so passionate about fishing and would fish anywhere any time with anyone and the sport of fishing brought joy to his soul. Josh was a truly happy and sweet-natured man. Despite the trials life gave him and any pain he experienced, he was full of joy. He had a tender love for Jesus and God's love poured out through him. Josh saw the soul of a person and treated them with love and care and genuine kindness. Josh will be missed tremendously by his family and friends.
A viewing will be held at Canyon Hills Assembly of God Church on Friday, May 23, 2014 from 9-9:45am with a memorial service at 10:00am and the graveside service immediately following at Hillcrest Cemetary.
