Juanita, mom, grandma you all of those things and you were loved for being them. I am sad that you are gone and sad that all of your family members were not able to say a final goodbye. I'm sure you know what was in our hearts. We love you.

Grandma I love and miss you! You have taught me and all your grandkids so many things: crocheting, gardening, baking, canning and singing/playing the piano. I remember the summers of you teaching me all of these and your patience with me on the crocheting. The turtle we found in your garden, that I got to take home . Your famous chocolate pie. And no matter how old we were the “Meow!” with a smile every time you answered the door for us.

Grandma, as a kid I got to watch you cook (yes, your chocolate pie was my favorite), grow okra, pick oranges from your tree and watch you raise Tom the turkey in your back yard! But what I will truly miss the most, is sitting next to you at the piano singing song after song together while you played the piano! I could almost always count on singing with you every time I went to see you, something I always looked forward too. I love you and I will miss you!
