She was born in Southern Missouri to Wanda Pauline Redman and Linas Thurman Redman three months premature with scoliosis. She was known as a blue baby and was not expected by live. They moved here from Missouri because of her breathing problem. She met her future husband Mark Kaye Hendricks at Art College in Los Angeles. Their first born son Christopher Kaye Hendricks was born on December 5, 1962, then their second son Nicholas Joseph Hendricks was born on November 2, 1963. Both sons were born in Orange County, California. They moved to Bakersfield soon after their son's were born.
Both her and Mark had their masters degrees; Mark was a successful art teacher and Judy was a successful special education teacher. They were married for twenty-five years. Mark died in 1991. She married for the second time to a childhood friend, Johnny "Blackie" Domingos.
She is survived by Johnny and her two sons, Christopher and Nicholas, sister Linda Joy Bradford, and beloved niece Brandi Medley and beloved nephews, Butch and Pat Bradford, Jimmy, Michael, and Chuck Hendricks; lots of cousins and friends and Aunt Inez and Aunt Ethel. She was a world traveler and had a strong passion for history, museums, French Impressionist paintings, Jazz music, Koi fish and Koi ponds.
She always had a vegetable garden and fruit trees. She absolutely adored cooking for Mark, Christopher, and Nicholas and made them homemade cobblers, pies, cakes, and cookies. Her and mark were very social and had lots of dinner parties for all of their teacher friends.
She was very proud to be a daughter of the American Revolution. She will be missed by many of her friends and family.
A graveside service for Judith will be held Saturday, August 7, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Hillcrest Memorial Park Chapel, 9101 Kern Canyon Road, in Bakersfield, California.
