Julia Zamora Cordova

Julia Z. Cordova August 21, 1958 January 17, 2010 In loving memory of our wonderful beautiful mother. Julia was born in Alice, Texas. She graduated from Alice High School (class of "76"). As a stunning young lady, she moved to Bakersfield, CA where, she met her husband, Humberto R. Cordova. They married on December 29, 1979, establishing their humble home in Bakersfield. Julia had three sons. Although she is gone, she will always be remembered and cherished. We will have her engraved in our hearts, in our prayers, in our thoughts, and in our memories forever. We love you MOM!!! Julia always had a smile on her beautiful face. She was a kind hearted woman, always lending out a helping hand if she could. Funny is a word that best describes Julia; she had plenty of funny stories and funny jokes. We will never forget our times together, our trips, our laughs, our cries, our lunches at Sizzler, or our dinners at Olive Garden, and of course our weekly trips to Wal-Mart. Julia is survived by her husband, Humberto R. Cordova; her three sons, Humberto, Pedro, and Armando; and her granddaughter, Emily. Our family wishes to express our sincere thanks to Davita Bakersfield Dialysis, Dr. Baer, San Joaquin Hospital and to all her care specialists. Visitation is Monday, January 25, from 4-9 p.m., with Rosary from 7-8 p.m., at Hillcrest Mortuary. Funeral service will be on Tuesday, January 26, 10:00 a.m. also at Hillcrest, 9101 Kern Canyon Rd., Bakersfield, CA 93306.
