Junior Salas, was born in Bakersfield, California to proud parents Roberto Salas and Ignacia Hernandez. Junior passed away in his sleep, and was welcomed into the Kingdom of Our Lord on Sunday, August 16, 2020. Not even 24 hours after his 27 birthday.
We will never why. We can only lay our heavy hearts and questions at the feet of the Throne. Junior was an amazing father to his two boys. Whom he devoted his time too. An ornery brother and child, with a playful personality and a smile that lite up an entire room.
He worked as a truck driver and was getting ready to plant his feet and take off running into adulthood with a purchase of a home. He was lining all of his ducks up in a row to get things going. All while being an attentive father, son, brother, and friend. Too say that he will be missed is by far an understatement. Our hearts ache. Our hands tremble. We rest assure knowing we have one hell of an Angel watching over us. May we always close our eyes and see you. May we feel your touch in the wind. And feel you near everyday. Until we meet again.
A visitation for Junior will be held Sunday, September 6, 2020 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Hillcrest Memorial Park and Mortuary, 9101 Kern Canyon Road, Bakersfield, CA 93306. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at 1:30 PM at Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe Patroness of the Unborn, 4600 E Brundage Ln, Bakersfield, CA 93307. A graveside will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park and Mortuary 9101 Kern Canyon Road, Bakersfield, CA 93306.
