I had the privilege of knowing Kami for many years. I miss the times that she would come into my office and we would share stories that we could both relate too.  She was a great coach to my son and always kind and funny.   She gleamed with pride talking about her children and grandchildren.  

My sincere condolences to her family.   Rest In Peace Kami 

Kami Taylor-Hernandez was born in Bakersfield, Ca. to Randy Crabtree and Lori Kraft. She was a loving daughter, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother (maaaaa), and friend. She is survived by father Randy, Mother Lori, Step-Mother Tracy, daughter Brittanie Taylor (David Taylor), son Brycin Hernandez (Anthony Hernandez), sister Kelli West (Matt), sister Kasey Crabtree, brother Travis Boswell (Danise) brother Ben Franco (Jackie), sister Samantha Franco, granddaughters Addicyn Marie Todd and Aubree Grace Todd. Kami also had several nieces and nephews. Kami also had lots of friends that were extended family.
Kami graduated from BHS in 1991. Kami was a Emergency Medical Technician, Paramedic, and Flight Medic for Hall Ambulance Service, Golden Empire Ambulance, Liberty Ambulance, and Delano Ambulance..
Kami loved photography, baking, and rooting on her New York Yankees. Kami also loved rooting on Brittanie and Brycin as they played baseball. Kami was one there to be on the fence praising her kids but also heckling the umpires if they needed it. She considered this keeping them honest.
Please know that Kami loved everyone she came in contact with and would do for them before doing for herself. This was just the type of person that Kami was and will always be.
Kami may you rest in peace and tell my mom hi.
