With deepest sorrow, we announce that Kristofer Miranda Herrera, age 26, our most beloved son, brother, life partner, family member, and friend passed suddenly at his home in Bakersfield on December 21, 2019. Kris will be missed everyday by his father Octavio “Tavio” Herrera, mother Melanie (Handley) Walden, step-father Orlando Ray Torres, sister Kourtnie Torres, and life partner Estefany Torres.
Kris was born April 17, 1993 in Bakersfield, the son of Tavio Herrera and Melanie Walden. Kris’ youth saw many years of playful laughter, pestering those he loved, and skateboarding. Kris’ love for animals was unmatched; he could regularly be found snuggling with the family’s pets. Most recently Kris enjoyed bowling with the love of his life Estefany Torres.
You’re thought about with PRIDE, Son. With each mention of your name, death cannot change a single thing. The LOVE will still remain.
