Linda O Borunda

Linda loved the Lord as she devoted many hours to St. Augustine in Lamont, she also served as a Catechism Coordinator teacher, and was involved in Lay Ecclesial Ministry and Crusillistas. Linda was a dedicated woman involved in PTA, JBA President, President CSEA Chapter 58, Heart Association, Chairwoman of Ornelas Family Reunion for many years. She worked for Lamont School District for 30 years as a secretary and received Certificate of Recognition from the state of California. Linda's favorite past times were spending time with her grandsons Nicholas and Adam, and spending time at lake Lopez with family and her doggy Brownie.

She was welcomed into Heaven by her husband of 52 years Armando Borunda. Linda was a beautiful loving mother with a great sense of humor to her daughters, Tammy Borunda, Brenda Borunda Lopez and her husband Alfredo Lopez, grandsons whom she loved with all her heart, Nicholas and Adam Lopez, siblings, Frances O. Ruiz, Margie O. Govea, Esteban R. III (Mary) sister-in-laws, Wilma (Jim) Gaither, Cecilia Garcia and Ted (Lori) Parker, numerous god children, whom she remembered and loved each one as God's special child, along with many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Viewing will be held on Wednesday, February 19 at St. Augustine from 5:00 - 8:00 with Rosary at 7:00 p.m. with Mass of the Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, February 20, at St. Augustine with interment to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Our mother's legacy will be remembered as a woman with a generous heart,

who affected many people's lives in ways too many to be counted.
