Loraine Owens, born December 27, 1928 was called home to be with our Lord and Savior Saturday November 8, 2014. For the better part of her life, Loraine lived in Bakersfield and worked for AT&T for many years.
Loraine had been a faithful member of Coronado Baptist Church for more than 25 years, where she enjoyed receiving the wonderful word of God and touching others lives with her words of encouragement through caring thoughts and cards. Loraine touched many lives and always put the needs of others first.
Loraine Owens is survived by her sister Violet Flowers, her daughters Susan Wolber and Kim Owens, grandchildren Kristi Weathers, Trey Owens and Brittany Charman and great grandchildren Shelby, Jaxen, Madison, Daniel, Wyatt, Carol, Ashlynn, Kylee, Baylee and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews that she deeply loved.
Services for Loraine will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Viewing will be held on Wednesday November 12th 4-8pm and Memorial service will be Thursday November 13th 1:00pm
