Lorenzo married Maggie, and together they built a strong and loving family. He is survived by his son, Lorenzo Jr. (Yvonne), his daughters Patricia (fiancé David) and Olivia (Anthony Luevano), seven grandchildren—Leeza, Victoria, Maya, Natalie, Gracie, Lorenzo III, and Lara—and four great-grandchildren—Elaine, Faye, Sebastian, and Isabella. He is also survived by five sisters and two brothers.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Aurora and Silvestre Tapia; his brothers Refugio, Aniceto, and Silvestre; and his sister Tomasa.
A proud veteran and devoted family man, Lorenzo cherished time outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping, whether at the lakes or along the California coast, where he found peace and joy in nature.
He was also an avid car enthusiast. His most memorable car was his 1965 Chevy SS Malibu, a vehicle he treasured. He also owned a 1974 Ford Bronco and spent countless hours working on vehicles—building them from scratch, selling them, and starting all over again. This passion for cars reflected his dedication, patience, and craftsmanship.
Lorenzo will be remembered for his strength, devotion, and love for his family. His legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew him.
