

Louise M. Johnson. 93. Born in Alexander, Texas on March 11, 1924 - Passed, December 4, 2017, in Bakersfield Ca. Louise leaves behind her Son Kenneth Johnson, Daughter Shirley Johnson, Daughter-in-Law Beth Riddle, Granddaughter Alisha Erbacher, Husband Jerad Erbacher, Granddaughter Tiffani Newsom, Grandson Jeff Lee, Great Grandson Noah Erbacher, many other great grandchildren, and Brother L.T. Cooper. Louise was preceded in death by her Husband Elmer Johnson, Father and Mother Fred and Lillian Cooper, Aunt Vera, Brother Royal, and Sister Jean.
Louise moved to California to live with her Aunt Vera in 1941. Not long after, Louise saw a young man; she knew she had to meet him. The young man was Elmer Johnson; they wed Feb 20, 1942, he was the love of her life. Shortly after they wed, Elmer went into the army and shipped overseas. Louise went to work at Minter Field in Shafter, where she packed parachutes for the soldiers. After the war, Louise and Elmer enjoyed traveling, but more than anything wanted a family. Louise was overjoyed when that day arrived. They had two children, Kenneth, born, 1958 and Shirley, 1960. Louise was a Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother and she loved each role. Louise loved the Lord and was a member of Northside Church in Rosedale. Louise was an Angel on earth.
Funeral services will be December 16, 2017, at Hillcrest Memorial Park 9101 Kern Canyon Rd. Bakersfield Ca. 93306. Visitation will be at 9am. Services at 10am. Funeral dinner to follow at Northside church on Calloway.
