

Lula Mae (Sims) Moser, July 24, 1926 - February 20, 2010. Lula passed away at 2:00 p.m. Saturday after suffering from lung cancer. She was born to Earnest and Lucy Sims in Corinne, Oklahoma. She worked for many years as a bookkeeper for Kirschenman Enterprises and K&M Harvesting. In her later years, Lula lived in Grover Beach, California where she was a member of the Grover Beach Beautification Committee. Lula enjoyed bowling, gardening, reading, crossword puzzels and playing harmless pranks on her friends and relatives.
She was preceded in death by her father, Earnest Sims and her mother, Lucy Hutson; her brother, Arhtur O. Sims; her husband, Roland C. Moser; hersons, James Roland Moser and Robert K. Moser. She is survived by a daughter, Cathy Adams and husband Tracy Adams of Ringgold, Georgia; sons Michael S. Moser and Gary D. Moser of Bakersfield, California; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and her brother, Elzy O. Carter of Canon City, Colorado. She leaves behind many others who loved her.
A Celebration of Life will be held during a graveside service at Hillcrest Memorial Park, 9101 Kern Canyon Road, in Bakersfield, on Thursday, February 25th, at 12:30 p.m. Viewing will be held from 10 a.m. -12 p.m.
