My Dear Tia Maria,

Growing up with you taught me many things, not all good , but not all bad either:

Stubbornness and a strong-will can make you a steadfast caretaker of children.  Rules are rules for a reason.  Breaking them usually teaches you that reason the hard way, but a hand that punishes should also be a hand that heals.

People can have strong ideas and harsh opinions regardless of knowledge and education.  Common sense and Wisdom save lives.

The nicest person in the room isn't always the most honest one ; speak the truth as often as possible.  Your ideas and opinions may not always be nice, but that doesn't necessarily make them wrong.

Sin is always waiting for your faith to waiver, so God and prayer are important everyday of your life, not just on Sundays.

Sometimes, children are easier to get along with than adults.  
There's no point to being an adult if you can't be childish sometimes.

Friends will come and go; because you can choose your friends and they can do the same.  Family is forever, whether you like it or not.

You were always there, Tia Maria, whether I wanted to you to be or not.  I didn't always want to listen to the lessons you had to teach, especially in the later years of your life, but I cannot imagine what my life would have been like without you.  

I will always remember your "Incredible hugs",  the Limpias you did when we weren't feeling well, and all the years of my childhood I slept at the foot of your bed or on the couch you had put in your room for me because I felt safer at night when I was with you.  

May the Lord bless you and keep you.  Now and forever.

May you rest in peace my lovely life-long companion,sister,and friend.

May the light of this candle guide your way to the heavens above.

Thats my aunt Mary she gone but not forgotten she so beautiful and now that she god angle she is even more beautiful I love her now and I know some day I will hug her again in heaven and with the rest of the family with our dear lord !!!

Condolences to your family.  My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief.

Glad that after all this time my tia can be at peace.
