Mary enjoyed visits with family and friends, fellowship at RiverLakes Community Church (in particular, their Primetimers Group), playing cards with family and friends, reading the Bible, serving on her High School Class Reunion Committee, and, while she was able, providing a transportation ministry to seniors that needed a ride to church. On Mary's last day of life, numerous calls and text messages came in to the family that were able to be shared with her. Some common themes in the messages of love and comfort were that we were blessed to have her, she was a true lady, she had integrity, warmth, humor and that cherished memories together would be carried in our hearts always.
Mary had three daughters Cathy Final (Gary Dressel), Corey Keathley (Duane), Kimberly Campbell (Jerry), Michele Keathley, Robert Keathley (Grace), and Kelli Aberle (Jonathan) Emily Aberle, Nathan Aberle. She lived in Bakersfield from 1948 until her passing. She attended EBHS Class of 1960 and enjoyed serving on their reunion committee for many years. Mary felt very blessed to have five wonderful grandchildren and was "Grammy" to all of them. She was blessed with her niece Angela Wilson and her nephew Kevin Grah.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents Mary and William Grah, brother William, husband William Gordon, husband Wayne Morris, and husband Norman Wright. Mary felt that family was one of the biggest blessings that life bestowed upon her. She was very thankful for one and all as well as her extended family and friends. Special thank you to Ivy Park, and Mercy SW Hospital.
Mary's Celebration of Life Service will be held at RiverLakes Community Church in the Community Center Auditorium on June 11, 2025, at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations to either Breakthrough T1D formerly JDRF, or The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
