Nicholas Stephen Burns

Nick’s passing has left an emptiness in the hearts of everyone who loved him. No words can truly express the pain of losing someone so deeply connected to our lives, or how difficult it is to accept that someone we love so much is no longer here with us. His life was a part of our story, and his memory will forever remain a part of who we are.

Nick leaves behind his two beloved children, his son, Gage Burns, and his daughter, Zoey Burns, who will always carry a piece of their father in their hearts. Although his time here was cut far too short, the love he leaves behind will never fade. A father’s love does not end when his life on earth does; it lives on through his children, in their memories, in the pieces of him they carry, and in the love that will forever connect them.

Nick also leaves behind his loving parents, his father, Thomas Burns, and his mother, Sheena Burns, and his four sisters, Alexis Tote, Tabetha Burns, Samantha Burns, and Destinee Burns, who will forever cherish the memories they shared with their beloved son and brother.

Nick was a son, a brother, a father, and a loved one whose place in our family can never be filled. His life touched ours in ways that words cannot fully capture, and his absence will be felt in the quiet moments, the family memories, and the days when we wish we could hear his voice or see his face just one more time.

Sometimes life is unfair, and we are left with questions, heartache, and memories we wish we could turn back into moments. Though we cannot change the time we were given with Nick, we can hold tightly to the love we shared and the memories that will remain with us forever.

As we say goodbye, we find comfort in believing that Nick is now at peace, free from the struggles and pain that may have followed him in this life. May he finally rest peacefully, surrounded by a love that knows no boundaries.
