Norma P. Fernandez, of Bakersfield, California passed away on Friday August 28, 2020.
A visitation for Norma will be held Monday September 14, 2020 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Hillcrest Memorial Park and Mortuary, 9101 Kern Canyon Road, Bakersfield, CA 93306. A funeral service will occur Tuesday September 15, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe Copatroness of the Unborn, 4600 E Brundage Lane, Bakersfield, CA 93307. A graveside service will occur Tuesday, September 15, 2020 from 11:30 PM to 1:00 PM, 9101 Kern Canyon Road, Bakersfield, CA 93306.
Norma was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother sister and aunt. She was a woman of faith and Loved her God, family, her grandchildren and her pets (whom she rescued). Norma is survived by Fidel Fernandez (husband), Andrea Fernandez (daughter), Nicholas Fernandez (son) and Jessica Morales and her grandchildren Mateo and Zoey Fernandez. She is also survived by her brother (Javier Rivera) and her four sisters (Maria Olga Garcia, Emelda Rodriguez, Adrianna Goodwin and Rosemary Rivera).
