

Patricia Lorraine Archuleta, aged 90, passed away on September 9, 2024, in Bakersfield, CA. Born on March 22, 1934, Patricia dedicated over 20 years to the Kern County Coroner's Office as a Deputy Conservator, a role she performed with diligence and compassion.
A devout member of St. Francis Catholic Church, Patricia's faith was a cornerstone of her life. She found joy in her religious community and was actively involved in various church activities. Her belief was not only a source of personal comfort but also a way through which she connected with others, spreading kindness and support.
Patricia's life was marked by her love for her family and her generous spirit. She is survived by her six children, Rick and wife Pat Geyer, Russell and wife Tina Geyer, David and wife Kathy Geyer, Brian and wife Esther Archuleta, Kathy Archuleta, and Christine Archuleta. Her legacy includes 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren who will cherish her memory.
Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Donald E. Archuleta, her great-grandchild Sierra Gabrels, and her parents Ana H. Stricklin and Lon Stricklin, along with her in-laws Marcella and Ross F. Archuleta.
An avid poker player and painter, Patricia also enjoyed watching her favorite TV show, "Chicago Fire." Her hobbies and interests were a significant part of her leisure time, providing joy and relaxation. She loved hosting family gatherings, particularly barbecues, where her cooking brought everyone together in celebration and camaraderie.
The family invites friends and community members to attend the services honoring Patricia's life on Monday, September 30, 2024, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.
The schedule includes a viewing from 9:00 am to 10:30 am, followed by a Rosary from
10:30 am to 11:00 am, and a Mass from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon. The final graveside service will be held at Union Cemetery at 12:30 pm.
