Patricia "Patty" Leija Papion, was born on February 23, 1957 in Texas to Frank G. Leija and Jessie Olivias. Patty entered into heaven on November 25, 2022. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She will be dearly missed by all those whose lives she touched.

A visitation for Patty will be held Wednesday, December 7, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Hillcrest Memorial Park and Mortuary, 9101 Kern Canyon Road, Bakersfield, CA 93306. A graveside service will occur Thursday, December 8, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at Hillcrest Memorial Park and Mortuary.

Serving as pallbearers are Noel Papion, Mikey Underwood, Michael Rosales, Ernie Rosales, Manuel Cisneros, Christian Cisneros, Andrew Ortega, Ruben Vasquez, Manuel Infante, Nephtali Sanchez and Landyn Webb.
