Paul Cruz was born September 13, 1939 in Bakersfield, CA. He passed away February 4, 2016 surrounded by his family. He resided in Bakersfield, CA for his entire life. He attended Arvin High School, where he excelled in football, basketball, and track. He worked for Vons Grocery Stores for over 40 years. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He had a special love for his Ford Model T, which he entered in car shows around the state. He was very active and extremely social as those who knew him were very aware. Always loved meeting with friends and family, where he would always greet you with his huge smile. He definitely enjoyed life to the fullest. He was preceded in death by his parents Theodoro and Felicitas Cruz, as well as his brothers Rudy, Arthur and Joaquin Cruz. He is survived by His sons Brent and wife Misty and Scott Cruz, his Grandchildren: Caleb, Kendria, Kylie and Kennedy Cruz, along with his sister Cecilia Dominguez and her husband Manual. He was forever proud of his Sons and their families. Dad will be deeply missed.
