Our dearly beloved sister Penny passed away on August 7, 2020 from the Coroniavirus. Her death is preceded by parents Joseph J. Deutschmann and Marjorie (nee) Bertrand Deutschmann. She is survived by sisters Sandra Bertrand Deutschmann and spouse Joanne Drapiewski of New York City, Sharon Combs and husband Roger Combs of Bakersfield, and Pam Zuber and husband Irl Zuber of Lumberton, TX, as well as two nieces, Marissa Combs Nieto and Caitlin Zuber.
Penny’s generosity and exuberance for life opened the hearts of everyone she met. She loved singing, dancing, and telling a joke. She had a deeply religious nature and reached out to help anyone in need. She will be missed by all who had the good fortune to know her.
