16 years ago, this photo was taken. A moment, frozen in time. We were young, we dreamt of what the world had to offer, yet never did we imagine we would say goodbye this way. The sky flickers with a new star in it's infinite beauty, but my sun shines a little less in my world. Rafa was that ray of sunshine. His light, illuminated through the shadows, embraced the ones he loved and the one's that's loved him. His laugh, quirky personality, stubbornness, kind heart are only a small part of what he was and continues to be as he watches over us. Sometime I felt like a father, scolding him when he would stray from the correct path in life. But, no matter his decisions, I always was there for him. I wish I could still be there for him. I hope he guides me down the right path. I miss you man. There will never be a day I won't carry the love you showed everyone around you. Rest in peace and spirits. You are truly missed my brother 🕊️.
