Rhuben Creekbaum
August 21, 1922 – August 2, 2022

He fought the good fight, finished the race, and had kept the faith and so Rhuben Creekbaum will be laid to rest just 19 days shy of what would have been his 100th birthday. Rhuben was born on August 21st, 1922 in Oklahoma, the oldest of 12 siblings.
He is preceded in in death by his adored wife Mary. He was a decorated World War II veteran, who landed on D-day and fought to liberate Europe, earning a Silver Star, Bronze Star and Purple Heart. During that time, he was able to find God and therefore devoted himself to bringing lost souls to thje Lord for the rest of his life. He retired from The Bakersfield Californian.
He is survived by sons Ray, (wife, Susan), Bill, (wife, Chris) and daughter Marilyn, (husband, Zell)
He was a longtime, faithful member of the Church of Christ.
