With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Richard Scott Irwin, who departed this life on May 29, 2025 at the age of 71. Born on September 28,1953 in Bakersfield, California to Darrel and Freda Irwin.
Richard is lovingly remembered by his beloved wife of 50 years, Lana Sherrel Irwin, his children; Sky Jeremy Irwin, Heather Michelle Irwin-Deal and Katrina Nicole Fraley. His grandchildren; Mallory Morales, Elijah Fraley, Cole Hanlin, Sam Hanlin and Liliana Hanlin.
Richard 's legacy lives on in the jokes he shared, the love he gave, and the lives he touched. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Services for Richard have been scheduled and are as follows: A Graveside Service will take place on Friday, June 13, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Hillcrest Memorial Park, 9101 Kern Canyon Rd., Bakersfield, CA 93306.
