Ronald Lee Anderson

Ron Anderson, a Southern California resident for 60 years, graduated to Heaven on February 4, 2024, at 90. Born in Erie, Pennsylvania and raised in Bakersfield, he served in the Navy during the Korean War, spent his professional career at Prudential Insurance, and in real estate. He was active in his local church, loved Dodger baseball, and golf. He was filled with scriptures and songs that carried him through his last days. His passion was to share Jesus with everyone so that all would receive salvation. His infectious smile, love of God, and the Bible made him a one-of-a-kind man. He left an inheritance of faith for his family and a positive mark on anyone he met.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Josie Anderson. He is survived by his children, Dan Anderson, Jerry Anderson, and Nina Anderson Pearce; grandchildren: Leah Anderson Kongbounmee, Spencer Anderson, Bennett Anderson, Graham Anderson, Alana Pearce, Liam Pearce; and great-grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Maya, Lana, Norah, Luke, Jordan, Cale, and Henry.

A graveside service for Ronald will be held Saturday, February 24, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Hillcrest Memorial Park, 9101 Kern Canyon Road, Bakersfield, CA 93306.
