Ronald Lee Hill Sr. & Eloma Jean Hill

Ronald Lee Hill was born in Chickasha, Oklahoma June 15, 1942. Born to Walter Hill Jr. and Eulalia Hill of Oklahoma. Eloma Jean Hill was born in Marin, California July 11, 1943. Born to Emuil and Ruby Smith of Oklahoma.

The passionate, enduring love story started with Ron and Jean marrying on December 1st, 1963, at Bakersfield SouthSide Seventh-day Adventist Church. They were both actively involved in their community and church as they grew as a couple. They then started a family bearing two children, Ronald Lee Hill Jr. and Karla Rene Hill. They started the family in Bakersfield, relocated to Riverside, and then moved to Modesto where most of the extraordinary storyline is created. They led a selfless life extending their family by adopting 3 more children, Anna Lee, Ixchel (Lodi), Cortez-Serrano, Tatiani Salinas-Serrano and gave them the gift of family love. They deeply loved all their children!

They were both highly respected members of Education. Ron worked as an Educator and High School administrator for over 40 years, and Jean worked as an educator for over 30 years as a teacher. They both were mentors to many people and touched lives throughout their long careers. They did this with passion and only gave the best advice, which made many who they are today.

Ron and Jean are survived by, Ronald Lee Hill Jr., Karla Rene (Hill) Collins, Anna Lee, Ixchel (Lodi) Serrano, Tayiani Serrano, Michael Smith (Brother of Jean), Kayla Renee Hill (Granddaughter), Janee Kyra Collins (Granddaughter)

Amongst other family members, a great granddaughter and other grandchildren who called them Grandma and Grandpa, Uncle Ron and Auntie Jean.

They were respected by their family and community. They also had deep love for God in everything they did. They loved life in every way.

Ron passed at the age of 83 and Jean passed at the age of 82. Married for 61 years and only loved each other in a way that could only read as a Great Love Story.
