Silvester was the son of Eugenio and Manuela Bustamante. Described as hard-working, honest, and resilient, he spent 37 years of his life dedicated to working at Calcot before he retired.
He is lovingly remembered by his daughters, Carol Ann Silva (with spouse John Silva), and Rosanne Bustamante. His legacy continues with his grandchildren, Alyssa Ramos, Joshua Silva, Isabella Ramos, and Noah Silva, as well as his great-grandchildren, Christopher Cerda, Timothy Herrera, and Milah Herrera. He is also survived by his sister, Elizabeth Bustamante.
Silvester was predeceased by his grandchild, Nicholas Ramos.
Funeral services will be held on November 14, 2025, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am, at Funeraria Del Angel Hillcrest, located at 9101 Kern Canyon Road, Bakersfield, CA 93306. A committal service will follow from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Hillcrest Memorial Park, also located at 9101 Kern Canyon Road, Bakersfield, CA 93306.
He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.
