Mom was proud to have served in the Navy during World War II. She worked all of her life as an administrative assistant for law firms and then Bakersfield College and Porterville College.
Although it is difficult to put into words all the things mom/grandma/great grandma meant to all of us, Mom was first and foremost a mother of children. You didn’t have to be born to her or her children – she could love you like her own. She would feed you and comfort you like no one else. She led her life with kindness and love in her heart. Mom was strong and passed that strength on to her family. She was guided by her love for Jesus and is happy to join him. She will be missed but she will be with us forever in our hearts.
