Susan Gail Marton

Susan passed away peacefully at home December 6th, 2021 in Bakersfield, California. She was preceded in death by her father Thelbert Marchman, mother Faye Marchman, husband Paul Marton and siblings Keri, Sue & Rex. She was born in Bakersfield, CA and called it home her whole life. Susan was known by her friends and family as Susie, Susie Q or Tootie. She worked in Transportation for the Bakersfield City School District for over 15 years and recently retired to spend more time with family. When she wasn’t spending time with family her second love was NFL Football, more specifically the NY Jets. She would also root for and support each of her sons’ favorite teams just as much. Susie loved her sons unconditionally and they were her everything, until her grandchildren came along. She was the happiest when Brock, Blake, Jackson and Bradlee Jo were with her. Whether it was cooking their favorite meals, competing in an imaginary hockey game, or playing dress up she would do whatever it took to put a smile on their faces. She is survived by sons Josh Marton, Brad Marton, Garrett Marton, daughter in laws Danielle DeArman, Samantha DeArman, Rena Marton and sister Janice Marchman. Susie is already, and will forever be truly missed by many. Services will be 9:00am Thursday, 1/6/2022 at Hillcrest Memorial Park Kern Canyon Rd, Bakersfield, CA 93306
