Thomas Hamilton Yale October 11, 1938 - July 27, 2011 Tom passed away on the early morning of July 27, 2011 in Bakersfield, California. He was the younger son of Wesley and Lillian Yale and was born in Leavenworth, Kansas. He was a devoted professor at Bakersfield College for 44 years where he taught microbiology, physiology, anatomy, and was a part of the nursing program. He loved participating in the Civil War reenactments at Fort Tejon with friends in the 1st U.S. Artillery "A" Battery. He is survived by his wife, Susan Yale; his brother, John Yale; son, Daniel Yale, and daughter-in-law Deanna Yale. Services will be held Sunday, July 31, at 3:00 p.m., at Hillcrest Mortuary on Kern Canyon Road.
