Such a great man. I worked with Trice at the Capital  30 years ago. When u r away from your district it gets lonely. We had a great friendship. I have thought of your dad many times over the years but neglected to look him up until tonight. I'm sure he is in Heaven fishing and happy to be reunited with your mom. Trice was one of a kind. The photo is perfect with that big smile. He did a lot of good for our small town of Buttonwillow and we will always be grateful. 
A skilled politician. Easily underestimated. A master  at problem solving.  Perhaps we shall never have another like him. We were privilidged to call him friend. 
Maybe prone to add to the truth of a story, if he felt it made it better. Loyal to his friends and not intimidated by his enemies, many of whom he later made friends.
His memory shall forever bring happiness to our hearts.

I am truly sorry for your loss. In this world that we live in it is all to often that we lose people we love. But please take comfort in God's word at Matthew 11: 28 it says : " Come to me, all you who are toiling and loaded down and I will refresh you." Just one of many warm words and promises given to us from God's word.

Trice was my PE teacher at St Marys in Taft....I had such a big crush on him.....I married a good friend of his , Richard Rhodes, and I know Dick would have wanted to say what a great guy he was.

Dinah I will always remember you and your dad for your great kindness when I was with Denise as she prepared to depart this world.  He was a good man.  God bless you at this time with loving comfort.

Trice has been our friend and neighbor for 32 years.  Lots of GOOD memories.  We will sure miss him.

Witness to Life, which Mr. Harvey's daughter Dinah has been a part of, expresses its sorrow over the loss of her father. May God bless her and her family and bring them comfort.

I first met Trice in the mid 50's.  He played QB for Taft & I played end for Coalinga. He gave me a very painful hip pointer. Years later, he came to our home. He was running for supervisor. When he left, my wife, Pam, said, "I don't care if he did give you a hip pointer...I'm voting for him". We both voted for him. He was a great guy & a wonderful public servant.  Clay Youree

Trice will always be considered our extended family member. He was a great man that extended loving kindness to us unconditionally. We loved him so very much and are devastated by his passing. 
His stories and experiences he shared with us with a humor only Trice could deliver were so very special to Wes and I.
