

Jinny was born on September 11,1936 to Lawrence and Loretta Lake in Bakersfield, California. She attended Roosevelt Elementary, Emerson Middle School, and Bakersfield High School. She graduated from University of Pacific with a BA in History and Art History. While on a European tour she met the love of her life, Eugene Sultze, at a side walk cafe in Paris France in 1957. They wed on August 16, 1959. Jinny's greatest joy was being a loving wife,mother, and homemaker.
Skilled in sewing and painting, she made beautiful creations for her loved ones. She shared and enjoyed her love of art, history, music, dancing, and decorating.In 1965, Jinny became a devoted Christian, which heavily influenced her family and friends. She loved to pray, read her Bible, and host Bible studies in her home. What shined through until the end was her sweetness and steadfast faith. She was an elegant, beautiful, and gracious woman.
Virginia is survived by her husband Eugene Sultze of Bakersfield Ca, her children Stuart (Cathy) Sultze of Bakersfield, Ca, Germaine (Sam) Ramirez of Whittier, Ca, Andrea (Tom) Bedford of Fresno, Ca, her sisters Carolyn Lynn and Barbra Nunes also of Bakersfield, Ca, 11 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.
Memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at 11:00am Hillcrest Memorial Park 9101 Kern Canyon Rd. Bakersfield, Ca. 93306.
