Wilma was one of fourteen children born to Charles and Florence Parr in Chalk, Texas on June 23, 1925. She was a strong, cheerful person who loved deeply and brought joy to our lives. Always graceful and wise, she was the foundation of our family. Our mother was most content with tending and nurturing her family.
Wilma was the dedicated wife and constant companion of Chester Allen Brown for 61 years, until his death in 2004. She is survived by her daughters Shirlene Barton, Nancy (Roger) Lowe; grandchildren Tammy (Brad) Zeimet, Joseph (Jenny) Barton; Joshua Lowe and Justin (Kristina) Lowe; great-grandchildren Mackenzie, Jacob and Joseph Zeimet; Karson and Derrick Lowe; and Ella and Eva Pontuis
Memorial services will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park & Mortuary, 9101 Kern Canyon Rd. on Thursday, May 25, 2017, at 2:00 pm.
