Allen Chambers, 68 of Colton California, died Sunday, October 29th, at home with his family in Barstow. Allen was a graduate of Colton High School and the Culinary Institute of America. Chef Allen, as he was affectionately known, worked as Executive Chef at several San Bernardino area restaurants before starting his own successful catering business. Allen was a long time member of the Episcopal Church, a charter member of the Colton Area Museum, and an avid outdoorsman. A celebration of his life is being planned for a future date before he is interred at Crestlawn Cemetary in Riverside. The family invites you to leave your condolences and memories here. In place of flowers, Allen asked that you give a donation to the Colton Area Museum or the Barstow Humane Society.
