She began recovering furniture outside her house and eventually started her own business, Hernandez Upholstery. She worked hard to provide and care for her entire family.
She is survived by her three sons Jose, Evelio, and Carlos as well as her large extended family.

A Committal Service will be held at Mt. View Memorial Park, 37067 Irwin Rd., Barstow, CA 92311, US, on March 16, 2026, from 12:30 pm to 1:00 pm.
