I am a former neighbor of Anthony, I just found out today of his passing. I will be forever grateful to Anthony for taking a chance on my daughter with no luxury retail experience, Anthony hired my daughter to work with him at the Las Vegas Barney’s location. I miss you so much. I still pick up my phone and think let me call Tony. We grew up with you as my younger brother and that part of my heart hurts now that you are gone. I thank God i have so much to remember of all the good times we shared. Love you always...........

I had the opportunity to work with Tony when we opened the Las Vegas location for Barneys in 2007. I was his assistant and was quickly given the name “able,” as in able assistant, which continued through our entire relationship. There was never a dull moment and I learned so much from him. No one had catch phrases quite like Tony - “A case of the exactlies,” “Burn,” and my personal favorite, “Movie star manages to have it all...” Everytime I would use one, Tony told me to expect a call from his lawyer for copyright infringement.
Although I eventually moved back to Pittsburgh, we never lost touch and when it came time for my daughter to have a godfather, I knew who would be the best person for the job - TP. I was so very blessed to have him in my life and in my family’s life. Say hi to your Dad and Bruno for me TP - until we meet again. Love you, boss.

Tony was a great friend, a great spirit and someone who was always supportive. I hope I returned in kind. My TP will be so missed.... not just by me but by so many....

Tony and I worked together at Nordstrom back in the early days of Nordstrom in California in the early 1980s. Tony rose to a manager job quickly, and then to a buyer job not long after that. During that time, he was both my manager and my friend. I have sadly lost contact with him over the past few decades, but I will always remember him as being a great guy, and a caring person --- truly one of the good guys.
