Ben Charley "Chay", 89, of Daggett, CA., husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather has gone to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 24, 2015. Born June 26, 1926 in Rehoboth, New Mexico; he resided in the Barstow Community for over 70 years. He worked and retired from Barstow Marine Corps Base with over 39 years as a truck driver. Survivors include his wife of 62 years Mary E. Charley; two sons, Edison Charley (Mary Ann) and Benjamin Charley (Marie); three daughters Rita Nez (Rick), Ruby Martinez and Loretta Begay, 36 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at New Life Fellowship on Saturday March 7, 2015; Viewing at 10 am; Service at 11am. Burial service at Mt. View Cemetery at 12:30 pm.
Reception to follow at New Life Fellowship.
