Bernie Albert Baca

Bernie is survived by mother Gloria Baca, sister Elisa Silva and her husband Patrick, daughter Kayla Baca and three grandchildren as well as three nieces a nephew and Christopher Wood who was like a son to him. Bernie was preceded in death by son Frank Baca; father Alcario Baca and brother Johnny Baca.

Bernie served our country in the Army from 2 December 1969 to 17 May 1972. He went on to work as a heavy mobile mechanic at the Marine Corps Base.

Bernie was always laughing and loved making others laugh with stories of his time in the army and many other stories of his experiences in his life and loved spending time with his family. He was loved and will be missed by his family and friends.

A memorial mass will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, 13 May 2021. Face masks are required in the church.
