passed away unexpectedly March 31st, 2024, at the age of 56 peacefully, in her sleep.
Cheryl is survived by; her husband Mitch Walker; her children Jennifer, Ruben, Steven,
Cameron, Audrey, and Ashley; her grandchildren Olivia, Eloise, Ian, Benjamin, Emma,
Andrew, Zoley, Cook, and Eleanor; her sister Tina and her brother Anthony; and her
beloved nieces and nephews. She is proceeded in death by her mother June, her sister
Alice, and her brother Roger.
Cheryl was born June 24th, 1967, to her mother June Cook and father at San Fernando
Hospital, a beautiful Saturday summer day. She graduated from Victor Valley College with
her degree in registered nursing and worked as a nurse in many different areas, with
hospice nursing being her main and most loved area served. On August 18th, 1992, she
welcomed her daughter Jennifer, November 29th, 1994, her son Ruben, and June 15th, 1996,
her son Steven. On July 3rd, 1998, she married Mitch Walker and moved to Newberry
Springs.
Cheryl was a devoted wife, mother, and GG. She was also an amazing nurse who captured
the love and adoration of her patients and colleagues. Cheryl’s favorite thing in the whole
world was spending time with her family, she loved that time deeply. She especially loved
the time she got to spend with her grandchildren.
Cheryl’s services will be held on April 27th, 2024, at 12PM at Newberry Springs Community
Church.
