Up until his resting he completed his last 12-hour shift, as he always had for the past 51 years. Never wanting to miss a day, with often overtime. He was dedicated not only to his family but to the USMC. A lot of his work was classified so we only know what little he would share. His famous words were when asked was "I would tell you, but I'll have to kill you after."

As much as he worked, he always made time for his family. He had a huge heart and would always help others. Opening his home when anyone that needed a place to stay.
