Mr. Donald Charles Blake

Don was born September 9, 1931 in St Joseph, MO to parents Lon and Lula Belle (Hopper).

Don is preceded in death by his siblings, Glenrose "Sally" Croul, Homer Eugene “Gene,” and Jeandale Sollars, as well as his wife of 54 years, Diane Blake (Tomblin), his son, Patrick Alvin Blake Sr. (Carole), and great-granddaughter, Kinsley Schreiner.

He is survived by 8 of his children: Donald (Leslie), Melissa (Paul), Michael, Dennis (Karen), Cameron (Marylee), Matthew (Lucy), Jonathan (Nicolette), and Susan.

Don is also survived by 39 grandchildren & 43 great-grandchildren.

Don enjoyed spending time with his family —attending church, singing, and sharing stories. He was giving of himself and supportive of those he loved. Above all, he will be remembered as a man who demonstrated an unwavering faith in the Lord, who felt great pride in his family, and who could see the unique strengths in each person. Don lived his life simply, and always as a reflection of God’s love.

A visitation for Donald will be held Saturday, December 18, 2021 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at New Life Fellowship, 134 Main St, Barstow, California 92311, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM.
