Dulcinea Gloria Villalobos

Dulcinea (Dulcy) Gloria Villalobos of Barstow, passed away on Friday, November 26, 2021. She was 66 years old. Dulcy was born on January 3, 1955 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Macedonio and Mary Chacon. Dulcy graduated from Barstow High School in 1974 and married Valentin (Val) Villalobos a few short years later on September 29, 1980. They were married for 42 years.

Dulcy was a loving wife, a devoted mother and grandmother and an amazing friend. There wasn't a school pageant, band performance or baseball game that she missed for her daughter or her grandsons. She was a proud Nana, showing of "her boys" whenever she could. Dulcy loved to travel and camp with her husband Val and their many friends whether in their Jeep, their trailer or on their Harley-Davidson. She loved getting out and exploring with the people she loved. Her smile could light up a room and her laugh was infectious.

Dulcy leaves behind her husband, Val; her daughter Grace and her husband Matt; and three grandsons, Christopher, Ethan and Jameson. She is preceded in death by her parents, Macedonio and Mary Chacon; father-in-law, Pedro Villalobos; sister, Mary (Margie) Chacon; brother, Daniel (Danny) Chacon; and brother-in-law, Pete Villalobos.

A visitation for Dulcy will be held Thursday, January 6, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Mead Mortuary, 36930 Irwin Rd, Barstow, California 92311. A rosary will occur Friday, January 7, 2022 at 10:15 AM at Saint Josephs Catholic Church, 505 E Mountain View St, Barstow, California 92311. A catholic mass will occur Friday, January 7, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Saint Josephs Catholic Church, 505 E Mountain View St, Barstow, California 92311. A committal service will occur Friday, January 7, 2022 at Saint Josephs Catholic Church, 505 E Mountain View St, Barstow, California 92311. Reception to follow at Noonan Hall.
